Netflix DVD is no longer worth it IMO.
I read they have more titles in home delivered discs than they do in streaming. I thought at one time that gave it an advantage. But now turn around time has been around ten days. I don't need it that bad.

OP
I haven't used that service in years, but it would seem like a good idea for "out of print" content

Yes, I often look for old movies or TV series. They have them, no one else does.

Streaming is far easier for me.

that has not been licensed for streaming. They could have a specialized service just for that. Still probably wouldn't make them any money.

(5,493 posts)6. I still use both services.
Movies even first-run movies, which are not available on Netflix streaming are on disk as well
as older movies from way back.
The turn around time is not that great. but less than a week.
I still get good value from the service.

But I've started to realize it sometimes takes me a few weeks to watch the DVDs as I keep finding something to stream instead. Yet I keep thinking I'll regret canceling the DVD service.

I admit my own slow watching may be delaying the general turnaround stats!
