Old Enough! on Netflix...Just watch one 10 minute episode to freak out!

Old Enough! is a Japanese reality show where little kids run errands all by themselves.
In the first episode an adorable 2 years walks 1/2 mile to the grocery store by himself! He walks along a bus! He's not in a rural setting.

in Japan, all adults are legally responsible for every child. So kids are generally safer than here in the U.S.

I was on a commuter train in Japan and the conductor stopped the train to tell two boys playing near the track to move away to a safer spot. Then he got on the radio and alerted other conductors about the boys.

Such little kids doing what we would consider dangerous activities. Then there is the little boy on the farm who doesn’t do anything he is suppose to because he’s distracted, as kids usually are.

A little boy who is home alone. He was four and they live on a little lane, so I didn't get much of a sense of danger. He also was fairly coordinated too.
