3. Loved the series, the movie was great as well. Tony Hillerman wrote the books.

Similar movie, my all time favorite I think is Thunderheart with a very good performance by Val Kilmer.

Of course Wind River is also one of my favorites.

These are not written by Hillerman but depict life on NA reservations.

7. I didn't realize there was a movie...will have to look for !

I am reading the Longmire series and Tony Hillerman books now...I have been in this sort of mood. I also read everything by CJ Box. I won't ruin the book or the Longmire show for those still watching but...the episode with the boys who raped a teen with alcohol fetal syndrome...was completely different in the book. It was a different killer and honestly quite shocking.

off the grid and raises Falcons. Falcons are fascinating by the way.
