Reacher (TV series) on Prime Video

Having read Lee Child's novels, I enjoyed this adaptation, which has also pleased most critics. The protagonist is a blues lover. Blind Blake's song "Police Dog Blues" (below) is on the sound track.

Never read the books, so I didn't have them to compare to Tom Cruise's representation in the "Reacher" movies which I thought were decent stories in their own right.

which got pretty good reviews. According to critics, the sequel is inferior, as sequels usually are. I haven't watched it. Tom Cruise is too short to be a plausible Jack Reacher for those of us who have read the books.

Chet Atkins and his contemporaries decades later. My Dad just LOVED Chet Atkins, but I don't know if he delved further back. My guess is he'd love the early blues pickers too but sadly he's no longer her to ask.

Nice, though. I love when tv/movies reach back musically.
