"Long Story Short". Sort of an Australian "Groundhog Day".
I really enjoyed this little gem of a film. Great story and acting.

(8,482 posts)I set a limit of how many movies that I buy. And it forces me to watch quality over quantity.
ps. the recent Oscar nominees didnt fit me except for Dune.

(24,187 posts)I literally watch a minimum of one movie a day. Sometimes more. So I weed out all the mediocre ones. Sometimes I'll go a whole week and not see one worth reviewing. So I'll go to my lbackup list of worthwhile movies to review/recommend. I also review movies for a local paper and they'e usually different movies than on my blog--mainly I focus on slightly more main stream films and films that would be more appropriate for families.
If you want, I can post a top ten list of my all time favorite movies.

(24,187 posts)"I listen to a lot of crap, so you don't have to". In this case it's "I watch a lot of mediocre movies, so you don't have to.
I literally watch a minimum of 7 movies a week. Sometimes more. Just to discover one worthy of a review in the paper.

(8,482 posts)Its so extensive: a wide range of topics and emotions. Its hard to choose myself.
I believe that profound recommendations will rise to the top. In past years, my friends recommended everything but those suppliers have disappeared.
