VERY loosely based on 'Pride and Prejudice', I absolutely love this film. Comedy, drama, music, singing, dance - everything.

The cast is great. It was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's first English speaking film.

Another really fun film is 'Bend It Like Beckham. Not so much a Bollywood style film but a whole lot of fun.

From IMDB: A kaleidoscope of color and culture clash humorously as an Indian family in London tries to raise their soccer-playing daughter in a traditional way. Unlike tarty elder sister Pinky, who is preparing for an Indian wedding and a lifetime of cooking the perfect chapatti, Jess' dream is to play soccer professionally like her hero David Beckham. Wholeheartedly against Jess' unorthodox ambition, her parents eventually reveal that their reservations have more to do with protecting her than with holding her back. When Jess is forced to make a choice between tradition and her beloved sport, her family must decide whether to let her chase her dream...and a soccer ball.

The Queen's Gambit
Hell On Wheels
Breaking Bad
Better Call Saul
This, of course, depends on what kind of movies you like, but all are well done and captivating.

Ooops. I just realized you said Bollywood/

Saw it on Netflix a couple years ago. It's indian and was quite controversial there when it was released. It's not Bollwood in the sense that it has a lot of music and dancing scenes. But it's Indian and I thought was fantastic. Not sure what streaming service it's on now. But well worth looking for.

Caution. If you are the type of viewer who picks out plot holes or inconsistencies, these are not for you.

But, they are a lot of fun. Action, melodrama, romance, music, dance, colorful settings, and the most incredibly beautiful people you can imagine.

Bang Bang is on Netflix, Dhoom 1, 2, and 3 are on Amazon Prime.

Om Shanti Om
Kuch kuch hota hai
Dostana (2008, not the old one) - GIF below is from Dostana
Ek Hasina Thi

Good older films
Mandi
Trikal
Masoom

Lots on Netflix...look them up in IMDB...
Some are lame comedies, I skip those....

My favorite is Baazigar.(1993)..I purchased it on Amazon for like $2.00...I watch it on my Roku Amazon app. (I'm not a prime subscriber, but you can purchase individual movies...Bollywood is cheaper than Hollywood)
I watched Baazigar on YouTube over and over, but then Venus pulled the good cover and put out a scratchy copy. (OK on computer, but horrible on TV)

The Extrarodinary Journey of the Fakir
Hotel Mumbai

Netflix
Jodhaa Akbar
Sacred Games
The BlCk Prince
Period End of Sentence
Land Girls - British series
Republic of Doyle series

I don’t know know where you can find them but the following are inspired by true stories:
Super 30 - about math genius who started free school to help poor kids to tackle entrance exam to India version of MIT.

Mission Mangal - about attack on hotel

Also recommended
A Man Called Ove - Swedish but a great film
The Bravest - Chinese movie about fire fighters, it is really good and I could see the event in the movie actually taking place

I also watch a lot of stuff on free apps:
Pluto - lots of channels, movie and tv
Peacock - I am working my way through all the seasons of Murder She Wrote
