Watched "The Twelfth Man" on Netflix last night. It is a true story about a Norwegian

saboteur pursued buy Nazis in WWII. What that man went through and
what chances the Norwegian people took to save him was amazing. I liked it
maybe not everyone's cup of tea but I like true stories especially WWII stories.
It is a Norwegian movie so there are subtitles.

I read a summary about the movie, and it brought back memories of a book that I read long ago in 7th grade.

It was one of the many books that I summarized for my English teacher that year. She would then grab the books from the students (if she hadn't already read them herself) during those many one-on-one sessions, flip to some random pages, and ask us questions to help verify that we actually read them.

Anyway, I couldn't remember the name of that book until reading the movie review. It provided enough clues to identify the old book... "We Die Alone"

I liked that book! Thanks again!

Edit: I almost didn't get credit for reading that particular book because her verification questions were so hard, so that stood out in my memory too.
