Initial attempts to force female boxers and badminton players into skirts didn't go over well with the ladies, who will now be given their choice of uniform, The Washington Post reported Friday.

(14,040 posts)on Monday (dead lift stuff) and I was wondering why they were mixing men and women. You have no idea how embarrassed I was when one of my co-workers told me they were ALL women. Anyway, I noticed yesterday when they had the women's field hockey competition on that their clothes were sparser than the men's field hockey team uniforms. It wasn't like the women were naked or anything but the uniforms are tighter, the tops were sleeveless, the skirts were formfitting... they looked liked field hockey player's going for sex appeal.
Heck when you look at baseball compared to softball and the uniforms, women often wear formfitting shorts, that don't protect the legs from "road rash" when sliding but the guys wear long pants when playing. Almost any women's team sport the uniforms are "briefer" than men's and tighter.
