I rate Laurie Penny as a writer and a feminist. She is wise beyond her years - but I think she has somewhat put the cart before the horse on this. The Patriarchy will cling onto power with every breath in their body..... it is what the do and have done for a millennia!

7. Grassley is 85 and Hatch is 84.

They have been misogynists all their lives and won't change their ways at this late date. However, their constituents should see that these two men are slipping, if they watched the hearings. Grassley looked like a deer caught in headlights. He was paralyzed and was unable to act until one of his aids stepped in and gave him notes to tell him what to do. Hatch is just being Hatch and that is not a compliment!

All of those issues need to be addressed at a legislative level when we take back the majority in Congress. We also need to stay the course to get out our Democratic voters because without them, we cannot win. Big, important jobs lie ahead for all of us to take back our country.
