WE DID IT! We finally completed most of the remodeling needed to expand our clinic ALL THE WAY into the new space in Moorhead. In mid-April, we ran some mock patient scenarios with our nurses to trouble shoot any last minute details.

The first day we used the expanded space - one patient commented that she couldn't believe it was our first day in the new space - everything was running so smoothly! Mission Accomplished! Another patient commented that the clinic was a "super comforting environment". Expanding into the other half of the wing allows us to have a more efficient flow for our patients, a dedicated medication administration room and a Recovery Room that is twice as big as the old building in Fargo. We also opened an additional Exam Room - one more than in our old building. We purchased a new ultrasound machine for that room at a recent conference we attended - $7,995.
We still have one more bathroom to demo & remodel. We needed to jack out the floor & connect the existing drain in order to plumb the new Exam Rooms in the expanded space. We estimate the demo & remodel will cost about $20,000. After that, we need to turn our focus to a new HVAC system for the north wing of the building (the south wing HVAC unit cost $166,000 - it was 44 years old!)
We could not have made it this far without all of your generosity! It truly humbles all of us to know that so many of you are rooting for us.
