Related: About this forumWill we even have pride in the future?
Given how companies are bending over backwards to a small religious minority with the loud mouths. Bills being passed to essentially ban LGBTQ events, drag, and act. Will pride month even be a thing anymore? People are scared of these troglodytes and its essentially forcing us back into a closet again. Or am I just overthinking this?

(54,852 posts)I see it, mostly with younger people, this attitude, that "it will blow over". I can kind of understand it. It is similar to the complacency among some women, again, mostly younger, in regard to Roe V. Wade. The upside, is it has lit a fire under a number of peoples' asses. The downside? I don't know how capable our communities and national/regional organizations are and if they are going to be able to handle it.
