In his coming-out note, he doesn't say sorry for supporting efforts to stop same-sex marriage or his votes against repealing DADT or enacting hate crime laws.

I do have issues with closeted gay male self hating homophobes who enjoy fishing off dick dock but damn sure want to prevent others from enjoying their life.

I have Amish ancestry and Schrock is a very common name among the Amish and related religious traditions. Glad he is able to live openly. Took bad he voted for so much homophobic crap.

2. Madening and powerfully sad at the same time

So many of these lawmakers who have lived deeply closeted lives have done great damage to the LGBTQ community which makes me angry. But I'm also sad that these individuals have not been able to live authentically.

He should apologize to the people he wronged if he wants to call himself a member of the same team.

5. He misused funds for trips

and for decorating his office. I am not surprised that he would be closeted.

I know some people have to be in the closet. I have relatives who have their reasons. It is a personal decision. But this guy is so crooked that I have trouble respecting any decision he makes.

However, this is going to be just one more example the heterosexist masses will use to say, "See, all homophobes are just self-loathing homos themselves! Stop harshing my buzz when I ridicule anti-GLBT men (rarely women) by implying they are secretly pole smokers!"

Basically, they can't come to terms with their own self, so they take it out on the rest of us. It DOES hurt us when they do that. He needs to make amends.
