Where did all those OWS People come from?

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Bolo Boffin (a host of the Creative Speculation group).

It took a while to figure out, but now I'm pretty sure that all the Occupy people started showing up on the streets right after Borders Books went out of business.

I incountered a whole bunch of people that were camping out in a shopping center in Reno and sleeping in their cars at night. During the day, they mainly stayed at the Borders Bookstore.
All were unemployed, some were newly discharged from the military.

Despite the assertion of the OP that it is seriously meant, I can't see how. It's becoming a thread of open joking. CS is for seriously intended speculation. Humorous speculation belongs in the Lounge.
