help on photo of JFK assn

onto the back bumper of the limousine to aid Jacqueline Kennedy.

The motorcade's "lead car", with Dallas Police Chief Jesse Curry driving,
can be seen just ahead of the limo on Elm Street, brakes applied."

My question is-- what is that black person-like blob in right behind the lead car? What is it or if it is a person, what p[ose are they in? It's just weird.

1. Is that the parade flag on the Lincoln's fender?

I'm guessing here, but a look at another angle will show if there was one present.

It's either the flag, or a dwarf wearing a black Snuggie.

6. I understand why you wondered...

The first time I glanced at it I thought it was a SS agent running ahead, but on second look it was a distorted posture. Because of the '60s blurry resolution it was less than evident what it was.
