Forget Kenya. Never mind the secret madrassas. The sinister, shocking truth about Barack Obamas past lies not in east Africa, but in outer space. As a young man in the early 1980s, Obama was part of a secret CIA project to explore Mars. The future president teleported there, along with the future head of Darpa.
Thats the assertion, at least, of a pair of self-proclaimed time-traveling, universe-exploring government agents. Andrew D. Basiago and William Stillings insist that they once served as chrononauts at Darpas behest, traversing the boundaries of time and space. They swear: A youthful Barack Obama was one of them.
(snip)
Officially, the White House says Obama never went to Mars. Only if you count watching Marvin the Martian, Tommy Vietor, the spokesman for the National Security Council, tells Danger Room. But thats exactly what a secret chrononaut wants you to believe.

(7,621 posts)The Wired article is, obviously, very facetious. It links to the hard-hitting expose in EXOPOLITICS by Alfred Lambremont Webre, JD, MEd: http://exopolitics.blogs.com/exopolitics/2011/11/mars-visitors-basiago-and-stillings-confirm-barack-obama-traveled-to-mars-1.html
In turn, Webre, JD, MEd (or is that Lambremont Webre, JD, MEd?) cites not only the two intrepid truth-tellers mentioned in the Wired article, but other "Mars whistle blowers" including Ike's great-granddaughter, and "Mars researchers, including physicist David Wilcock." Wilcock turns out to be the "Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?" (one must appreciate the modesty of the question mark) with a BA in psychology, which of course contains many of the same letters as "physics."
My impression is that full-frontal woo is out of scope for Creative Speculation, even when no one is advocating it -- and even though it is nothing if not creative. Maybe this is more like "Weird News"?
