Well, that's about 100% of all the "evidence" of US going to the moon!!
ALL the tapes are gone -- ALL the moon rocks -- !!

True -- ALL the tapes are gone --
And there are actually people who will believe this?
PS: I'm wondering if they'll remove the LEM from the Smithsonian and take it on
tour and lose it as well?
Have you ever really looked at that thing?

You must be aware that almost everyone believes that the moon missions happened.

Who discusses it -- CNN? PBS?
Remember when the CIA used to be admired --
and we had a government we thought we could trust?
"Moon Landing" took place at a time when there was a great deal of
trust in government -- but still, many had doubts about it.
One of the odd advantages of the JFK assassination is that there's a lot of
interest and a lot of information out there -- many challenges to the official myth.
Very public event which many felt deeply impacted them and they are still interested.
Same with 9/11 -- and the challengers got busy very quickly getting a lot of info out.
Why Do So Many People Think We Never Landed On The Moon
Many people find it hard to believe that up to 20% of the US population thinks that we never landed on the moon. Many people think it was a hoax ... moon landings had actually ...

ETA: And even so, since by your figures, 80% of the public doesn't question the moon landing, why would you say what you did?

(23,872 posts)NASA regularly loans moon rocks, meteorites and samples of comet dust to museums, researchers, educators and institutions around the world. The Astromaterials Acquisition and Curation Office maintains 140,000 lunar samples, 18,000 meteorite samples, and about 5,000 solar wind, comet and cosmic dust samples, the report said.
"As of March 2011, over 26,000 of these samples were on loan for scientific study, educational pursuits and public outreach purposes," Martin wrote.
Out of those 26,000 sample loaned out, 517 have been misplaced.

(65,605 posts)any "Moon landing" --
NASA has done one hell of a lot of things over the decades -- many very
questionable and nonsensical.
And as you know there are many challenges to the moon rocks --
Bolo Boffin
(23,872 posts)That's very far from being the case. Are you willing to concede that?

The point is that what they had on tape they've had to destroy --

Bolo Boffin
(23,872 posts)Not to you, of course. I don't think there's any evidence you would accept on the subject. But the immense undertaking of travel to the moon was well documented and the vast majority of samples have alway had a chain of custody.

(65,605 posts)Additionally, there is great controvesy about the rocks --
and, of course, you know that.
Meanwhile, the issue of losing and tossing tapes and rocks is the primary
issue --
Bolo Boffin
(23,872 posts)There is only great controversy about the rocks in a small subset of people. And of course you know that.
The only tapes missing are the telemetry tapes for the first mission to land on the moon. The other Apollo missions tapes remain accounted for. And of course you know that.

From the outset you're talking about a small number of
people who would be aware of the issues.
The ONLY tapes missing are for the original Moon Landing -- ROFL
Where the IGNORE -- ???
Bye --
Bolo Boffin
(23,872 posts)And there are at least six sets of tapes there of the other five moon landings and the Apollo 13 mission besides. They go all the way to the moon and all the way back. If the tapes are your standard for acceptance, why do you dismiss them?

That last part (part 5) has actual evidence that NASA astronauts actually went to the moon - contact with a laser retro-reflector left on the moon by Apollo 15 astronauts.
Or you can go to Phil Plait's more recent blog posts and see images of the Apollo landing sites in high definition imaged by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter:
