If the founding fathers would have known what the 2nd Amendment was going to do to our future,

they would not have included it in our ..."Bill of Rights."

My guess is that they had no idea that guns would be so widespread and do so much damage,
We are talking about very intelligent men who knew a whole lot. But they did not know ....
.......THE FUTURE.........

....IF THESE PEOPLE KNEW WHAT THE FUTURE WOULD BE, ...MY OPINION ONLY..."NO SECOND AMMENDMENT."

Broad interpretation contradicts the preamble of the Constitution. "To ensure domestic tranquility"

It needed to be clarified and updated over time, esp for WMD's. (To be banned, as they once were. Ahem)

But money buys people. Not just guns. Utter corruption, especially on this court, makes a travesty of the Constitution.

Do ya remember (reading about) prohibition?

was predicated on this country's obsession with getting something for nothing (slave labor) and the hatred of the other... usually black and hispanic peoples. Nixon hated blacks... he hated hippies...which is why we've been tortured with drug laws since the 1970's. Until this country faces up to it's systemic racism we'll never get anywhere.
