Tom Brown, the tracker, survivalist is advising people on how to escape to the wilderness

to avoid the coronavirus in the future. He also gives advice on doing 2 prayers daily to ask for help in knowing when there is danger, like getting to close to an infected person.

He had his brother on his show that he shared on youtube. His brother, Jim Brown, has a PhD in microbiology from Rutgers who started out as an AIDS researcher. He was assistant commissioner of health for New Jersey, director of microbiology for Roche, a biotechnology company. He says you should listen to Anthony Fauci and you can trust him.

I loved all the books by Tom Brown on how to do basic survival in the wilderness and how to track wild animals, but I think he is really sounding now like a one note song, about being a survivalist and being paranoid about the threat of home invasion and running out of food. His brother James seems to have the true advice. This is a time when government and people need to unite to face the next year or 2 years of dealing with the coronavirus.

to strengthen your own inner radar, intuition, gut feeling, not to ask God to help.

For us non-believers, it underminds credibility. What can I say?

better off trying to fix civilization than going back to the stone age: where life was short, harsh, and painful.

I get the idea of wanting to run away, etc. But there's a whole host of issues that make this a bad idea.

In that kind of world (with the millions of armed lunatics) it become survival of the quickest, meanest, best organized, best armed, etc

I have zero confidence in anyone who relies on praying to change anything.

those folks are here in the woods now. More will probably show up when the snow is gone. I've seen some well appointed militia rigs showing up in these parts. Some are thinking they are hiding out but will find there are lots of people in the woods. And then there will be problems until they all get burned out. We're also expected to have quite a fire season and I'm sure they will help to kick it off for us.
