"Winter storm rips through Gaza, exposing failure to deliver enough aid to territory"

This is the headline of an article from the Lebanese news site "Naharnet" from 12/11/25. It highlights how little aid is actually getting through despite assurances from Israel and the international community. It is also unknown if the gangs that Netanyahu armed and propped up are still stealing aid. It is likely since the gangs have now begun to fight among each other and have even killed a leader within their own gang.

Seems the Netanyahu idea was to prop up gangs with arms, food and cash and claim them as being the "good guys" who would give the Palestinians in Gaza a force to flock to as an alternative to Hamas. This is covered well in an article from the site "+972 Magazine"
titled "Israel’s Gaza proxy strategy is collapsing" dated 12/12/25 with a byline from Muhammad Shehada.

Regarding aid entering Gaza the Naharnet article notes about the "ceasefire":

"Under the agreement, Israel agreed to comply with aid stipulations from an earlier January 2025 truce, which specified that it allow 600 trucks of aid each day into Gaza and an agreed-upon number of temporary homes and tents. It maintains it is doing so, though AP has found that some of its own figures call that into question."

The article notes the response from the Israeli government:

"COGAT said Dec. 9, without providing evidence, that it had "lately" let 260,000 tents and tarpaulins into Gaza and over 1,500 trucks of blankets and warm clothing."

The article further notes that an international coalition of aid organizations calls that into question and states:

"UN and international NGOs have gotten 15,590 tents into Gaza since the truce began, and other countries have sent about 48,000. Many of the tents are not properly insulated, the Cluster says."

Quite a major discrepancy but it is what was bound to happen when the rabid right wing government in Israel was allowed in the "ceasefire" to be the one to completely control all aid flow rather than have an international 3rd party in charge. The article mentions they aren't even allowing in pumps to help with the floodwaters.

So the bombings, killings and aid strangulation continue while the "world" celebrates a supposed "ceasefire" and demarcation line. A line that is regularly crossed by IDF forces to conduct killings. Basically demarcation of nothing of much substance.
