The IDF has recovered Hamas documents from the Gaza Strip that it says prove the terror group has been secretly falsifying the results of polls conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PCPSR).
Still, the IDF says that the documents do not prove that PCPSR was cooperating with Hamas, but rather that the terror group was conducting clandestine actions to fraudulently influence the results of the polls.
PCPSR is run by prominent Palestinian pollster Khalil Shikaki.

(2,640 posts)They drop bombs willy nilly on civilians who mostly didn't support the terror attacks?
Heck, I've had DU commenters justify the bombing by pointing to civilian support for hamas!

(6,176 posts)and a good number of them amount to war crimes. Having said that, Israel does have a right to defend itself, and should do so in a way that doesn't violate the recognized notion of "just war" or in a way that creates even more radicals. Seems to me they are failing on both.
I wouldn't put it past Hamas to cook the data about how much support they have among the Palestinian people. Assholes are gonna asshole.
