Related: About this forumI was really disgusted at Scripps News and WSJ this morning.
This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Lithos (a host of the Israel/Palestine group).
Scripps was quoting a WSJ article claiming IDF was planning on flooding the Hamas tunnel system. Great, nothing like telegraphing. Tell the whole world so Hamas can then say they are moving hostages into the tunnels. No sense of decency anymore.

(6,967 posts)1. I don't disagree and it would be surprising to learn Hamas hasn't considered and planned for this.
Flooding is a time tested offensive move against a tunnel network. I believe it was used extensively in Vietnam and several other conflicts.
Israel would be stupid to not consider it. Hamas would be stupid to not see it coming from day 1.
