Protesters torch Israeli flag outside Democratic National Convention

http://www.jpost.com/US-Elections/Protester-torch-Israeli-flag-outside-Democratic-National-Convention-462504

Left-wing protesters demonstrating outside of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on Tuesday night torched Israeli and American flags amid chants of "intifada!" and "go home, F*** Hillary!"

Wall Street Journal reporter Byron Tau tweeted images from the scene along with video of the demonstrators igniting a number of pro-Bernie Sanders posters placed on the fence outside the convention venue at the the Wells Fargo Center.

Who else has been written into the script of who we as Americans must worship? And are we expected to be as Isaac- and be willing to sacrifice our sons?

These crazies also burned American flags too. Anti-Israelism and anti-Americanism have a lot of "intersectionality," if you will.

Jewish neighborhood the people who were upset about it don't give a shit about the first amendment? You seem to confuse the fact that people have the right to say something means they get a free ride on the consequences of that speech. A lot of people who don't actually understand the amendment make the same mistake. Absolutely NOBODY is saying they didnt' have the right to burn the flag - we're saying they were fucking imbeciles for doing so.

burning flags is not a civil act.

the countries you mention are also not allies of the US, nor do Americans like those countries and none of them is rated "Free" by Freedom House.

Also, you don't see anyone here burn those flags much despite that they're all US adversaries. Let alone as some kind of statement at a political convention.

The exercising of the 1st amendment many not be a civil act, but it is THE first tenet of our Constitution. Are you ready to throw out our Constitution or just certain rights?

By raising the false issue of the 1st Amendment, when no one has challenged their 1st Amendment rights. Then you ask a false and misleading question: " Are Americans now required to have reverence to that particular foreign nation's flag?" Because no one has said that people should have reverence for the Israeli flag. So the obvious answer to your question is "No." The rest of your questions are equally false and clearly deflections of the thread. Why are you so passionate about changing the subject? You say you may not agree with what people do, but you will defend their right to speak. Great. Why then are you stomping on the people on this thread who are exercising their right to speak in criticism of those who burn the Israeli flag? More to the point, do you in fact agree with those who burned the Israeli flag? It looks like you do, and that is why you are so desperately trying to change the subject.

And when people began commenting (because the OP posted the article with no comment) negatively with replies such as "fuck them!", I brought up the Constitution and the 1st Amendment.

And I never claimed that anyone was calling for anyone's arrest over this. But I find it ironic how people who have adopted the "Progressive Democrat" label for themselves are so damn eager to put others down for exercising their 1st Amendment right. Is this the new definition of what a "Progressive Democrat now is? Cause it sounds pretty GOP to me.

20. False questions.
Wed Jul 27, 2016, 03:55 PM
Jul 2016

I did answer your first question. The answer was "No." Your other questions were equally false. They assumed facts that are blatantly untrue. Let's look at your other questions.

First: "Who else has been written into the script of who we as Americans must worship?" Everyone can see that your question assumes that Israel has been written into a script of who we are to worship. Except when you wrote that you told a big fat lie. No one has been written into a script that Americans are supposed to worship. So the answer to your dishonest question is, "No one. And no one at all has been written into a script that Americans should worship.

Second: "And are we expected to be as Isaac- and be willing to sacrifice our sons?" No. No one is asking anyone to sacrifice their sons for anything. You made that up. More lies from you.

What is troubling is that the questions you ask reek of antisemitism. All anyone here has done is criticize the hatefulness of people who burned the Israeli flag and shouted "F*** Hillary," They spoke out for common decency, and you are by implication accusing them of "worshiping" Israel, and wanting to sacrifice Americans for Israel. The lies assumed by your questions are antisemitism.

So now I have answered your questions. Will you answer mine? I'll ask again. Do you agree with those who burned the Israeli flag? Do you agree with those who shouted "F*** Hillary?"

You asked BS questions. A BS question is one that assumes a false fact as part of the question (a good example is found in "My Cousin Vinnie&quot . Your questions assumed things that were lies, as I have already pointed out. And now twice you have refused to answer my sincere questions. Oh well; no one can say I didn't give you a chance.
