MK Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) attacked Netanyahu, saying, Hasbara will not help even when you speak excellent English with a Republican accent. She accused the prime minister of presenting a virtual reality with his map, and said that in the test of diplomatic results, he has failed time after time, especially concerning the nuclear agreement with Iran.

(6,171 posts)2. I'm reading Netanyahu's comments in English, and they sound really shifty.
Are they just as shifty in Hebrew, or is it just the translation?

(3,967 posts)4. some would think "shalom" sounds shifty
if Netanyahu said it, but that doesn't give any new insight about his comments, only announces that the observer thinks Netanyahu is shifty - which may or may not be news depending on who the observer is.

(30,109 posts)3. Bibi is a moron if he thinks BDS is about boycotts, sanctions, divestment...

That type of BDS is an utter failure. Israel's economy has tripled since BDS has started and Israel is the complete opposite today of being "isolated".
Rather, the BDS movement is about demonizing Israel and dehumanizing Jews as the new Nazis. It's a hate movement whose goal is the obliteration of Israel. A hate movement committed to inciting against Jews.
Bibi is doing nothing about that.
