Russia faces massive oil revenue crisis - Break the Fake - TVP WORLD

Russia's economy is hitting a breaking point. New official data reveals that Urals crude oil – the lifeline of the Kremlin's budget – has sinked to $44.87 per barrel, the lowest price in years.

Sanctions targeting Rosneft and Lukoil are cranking up the pressure, while the gap between Russia's planned revenue and actual income is spiralling into a massive financial hole.

In this episode of Break The Fake, Jonasz Rewiński breaks down how the drop in oil prices is shaking up the Kremlin. Is this the slow-motion crash that Putin can no longer hide?

came from Notes on Poland, a group that provides news summaries about a Reuters poll. The survey was also done in 2023 and there was a reorganization after the Polish election in December 2023 and the operations were suspended for over a month. One of the things not mentioned within the poll is that some of the resentment of Polish viewers ties to the specific issue of abortion because they are a government supported station which parroted the restrictive policies that were adopted into law. While I disagree with their stance on abortion, I am not going to dismiss their other reporting based on that one issue. Perhaps that provides some context to which you are unaware?

As to why it is posted here, there is very little video coverage from Eastern Europe that is produced in English and the amount of coverage about the war in Ukraine started diminishing about eight months into the war. The Break the Fake clips relate to the war and Russian politics, while the Eastern Express provides news about Eastern Europe and Central Asia that would be almost impossible to find.

As with any thread posted on DU, I'll let the viewer discern the accuracy. And as with any thread posted on DU, I also don't question the motives as to why other members use certain references even if I hold those sources in low regard.
