Russia Out of Cash - Joe Blogs



In this video I discuss the recent announcement that Russia has decided to partially privatize some businesses and assets that are currently owned by the State. Since the start of the war in Ukraine Russia has nationalized multiple businesses that were previously owned by overseas companies. However as a result of the soaring cost of the war and the reduction in the National Wealth Fund Russia now needs to raise capital through the sale of shares in these businesses which shows the ongoing impact of the Sanctions on the Russian Economy.
