Donald Trump’s supposed desire to recognize Crimea as Russian territory has absolutely nothing to do with politics, international relations, or legal frameworks. No, no – according to these Kremlin-certified intellectuals, it’s all about hotels.

Sorry-- I am an infectious disease practitioner so these things come to mind.

(and yes, while the Congo region of Africa and the Middle East have seen more CCHF in recent years, it derived its name from infection/deaths of Russian soldiers in Crimea during the 1940s, so... )
