In this video I discuss the current state of the Economy in Turkey which is currently in Recession. The current rate of Inflation is one of the highest in the world and interest rates are also extremely high making this a very challenging time for the Turkish Economy however are there now signs that a recovery may be possible in 2025?

1. We visited Ephesus in September

We were on a Mediterranean cruise, and visited Kusadasi/Ephesus. We had a private tour with 2 other couples. Our guide - who was fully towing the Erdogan party line - said that they had 72% inflation. A lot of young people want to leave, but can't because the EU won't let Turkey in.
