Regular Russian people do not unconditionally support Putin, as propaganda presents them. This was revealed as a result of the apathy of the nation, emotional impact of prolonged conflict, and government missteps. Kursk situation made local Russians realize that it's pretty much "every man for himself". And that there are still good Russians.
