I said when the Ukraine war started that Russia had a soft underbelly and the 'stans were already getting restive, seeing their oil, gas and mineral wealth carted off to Moscow with little coming back to them. Plus, there's some majority Muslim territory to the north that used to be theirs and they want it back, oil wells and all.

Now that Russia has been so weakened by Putin's war, things could get very interesting.
