They tried jumping from being a regional sea power to having a true blue water fleet and haven’t really pulled it off. Having carrier operations across the globe is something the US makes look easy. It’s not. It’s extremely challenging and we have a hundred years experience with 100s of vessels. That’s provided a deep institutional knowledge for the US.
