Today we were watching TV and an ad came up for this organization: http://protecttheharvest.com/

Their ad started out, "There's a storm coming". It was the same ominous warning used by the National Organization for Marriage (NOM). The beginning even looked the same.

Sad. So sad. (Though I'm happy to note that I'm now an animal rights extremist, according to them.)

1. When my daughter came out as gay, her siblings's reactions were "Meh."

When she came out as a vegetarian, they were very concerned that she get proper nutrition!

For me, her being a vegetarian just makes menu planning a little harder.
