Amtrak cancels dozens of trains due to storm hitting the region

The delays and cancellations will continue into Wednesday

Due to overhead power issues and debris on the track Amtrak's Keystone Service between Philadelphia and Harrisonburg for Tuesday has been suspended.

There are many Amtrak train cancellations and delays in effect for Tuesday and Wednesday.

6. It appears to be autocorrect's version of Harrisburg. There is a Harrisonburg, but it's in Virginia.

I am in North America for a couple of weeks. I‘m already fielding the expected barrage of „what are you doing over there, and when are you back?“ calls, but I get to see my US-based family and friends little enough as it is. Every now and then, I put the real world on hold. Nobody can be everywhere at once, and I stopped trying long ago.

there is one train eastbound (644) coming into Lancaster at the moment.

We have seen maintenance units moving on the corridor already, but that's all so far.

and it's train, with it's pantograph retracted. I guess diesel is the only method of propulsion for the time being.
