Pod Save the World, a climate special with John Kerry and Pacific island women!

A key point made- one thing we can all do for the climate is to work to elect Joe Biden. Climate is enough of a reason to vote. It’s not some thing you can undo. When we let Bush defeat Al Gore and let Trump win in 2016 !we lost time we needed! that we just don’t have. Both of those losses, totaling 12 YEARS without climate action, left this planet on a worse path and much hotter than it would have been with Al Gore and Hillary Clinton in office, without a doubt.

“In a special episode, Tommy and Ben discuss the upcoming COP28 conference in the United Arab Emirates. They speak about the climate summit's importance, hear from activists from the Pacific Asian community, break down the science behind a 1.5 degree celsius warming, and the cynicism around the large presence of fossil fuel lobbyists and the host country's oil rich economy.
Then, Ben speaks with John Kerry, the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate from the US, about what's on the agenda this year and the challenges of securing funding to follow through on the global commitments made towards mitigating climate change.

We end the show with a Q&A segment for subscribers. To hear that segment in future episodes, and to get ad-free Pod Save The World, subscribe to Crooked's Friend of the Pod service at crooked.com/friends”

Thank you for posting this!

The young voters who apparently 'hesitate' to vote (in 'polls') for Joe Biden and Dems all down ticket next year better think twice if they want a future with a clean air and normal temperatures... Staying home on election day because the media tells them he's "too old" is not an option!

The only way you could've persuaded him to attend, is by tricking him into thinking it's a beauty contest.

"Will they be wearing Hula skirts? You know how I love those - and I can't ever get Ivanka, er, I mean Melania to wear one!"
