Out here in Minneapolis, the media is in an uproar over a local small private school of roughly two dozen students, where, as part of an on-going sex ed curriculum, a school leader took the middle and grade school members on a trip to a nearby sex shop. The shop itself is a self-proclaimed progressive store, focusing on sex positive toys and books, open discussions on sexuality and gender, reproductive health assistance and a variety of sex and sexual health practices. According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the store put away anything that might be deemed pornographic but allowed sex toys to remain out, causing at least one parent to be up at arms.
