Value of a "highly seo'ed" web page for service business?

I have a lame web page currently, part of the "benefits" of the trade group I belong to. They have an "upgrade option" but the included tools are not all that great.
I decided to use wordpress and take advantage of the seo plugins and other features to really go after seo optimization. I am hoping to provide services locally and nationwide.
Any other business owners care to share the results of a similar effort? Did it bring in business? It is going to take a lot of work and it would be nice to hear if others have seen results from their efforts. I am going after specialized QuickBooks related services and currently there are very few people heavily advertising what I do. I would guesstimate there are fewer than 100 people offering the services I am pursuing and when I do searches there are very few "hits" for the search terms.

(40 posts)Hi,
As per my suggestion, SEO ( Search Engine Optimization) is used for identifying how the search engines works, what people actually look into for in search engines, the actual terms or keywords that are entered in the search engines and which search engines are mostly searched by the targeted audience. SEO holds a very important value in market these days, in order to promote the business one must know the ultimate value of SEO which includes perspectives, targeted traffic, increase visibility, long term positioning, cost effective or flexibility etc.
Thank you once again...

(20 posts)Hi,
I believe a website after SEO manipulation is spontaneously pushed closer towards the top of a particular search result. Thus, the percentage that a website is being clicked or viewed is more probable than as if you got your website being placed at the top or end of a search result.
