I realize people have to make a living...

but why scam?

Yesterday, I got two calls at work from someone claiming to be affiliated with AT&T. They always ask for the person who handles our account. When I asked "Are you with AT&T?" the first person said "uh...no, but we work with AT&T's clients." I said I was not interested and they said something like "Ok. Thanks." and hung up.

When I asked the person on the second call, she said "Yes." And I asked again "Do YOU work for AT&T?" She said yes so I said "Ok, what can I help you with?". And then she hung up.

I wish they'd just say what they want instead of trying to pull something over on someone.
