Another question about the Recovery Rebate Credit - the stimulus pay

On another message board someone did not get the second check but is not required to file a return because all they get is CRP (have no idea what this means). I though that many were told to file, even if were not required to?

Any ideas?

1. There's a Form CRP in Minnesota -- Certificate of Rent Paid

Or they left the "A" out of "CRP".

3. Dunno. Back in the first stimulus check days, one had to go to a website and fill out

some information, but didn't have to do a full blown tax return in order to get the stimulus check. But I don't know if that was permanent, or if they were required to file a tax return later to finalize or something. I don't remember anything about the discussion around the 2nd stimulus check.
