Need free stock tracking site or software

I use Quicken for my personal financial info but their watch list feature is screwed up.

My parents' estates are being settled over the next couple of years and I just got the first statement of what is held. I want to be able to put the various investments into something to track, sort by asset class, and simply to help me do some research on what is in their estates. I do not want to enter the investments and actual amounts in Quicken since I will only be getting a share.

Any suggestions - hopefully for something free?

I realized I could enter the info in a separate Quicken file so I can track what has happened since the current investment company has gotten hold of the accounts. It's seriously complicated and while I only get a share I might be able to request some of the holdings. That's why I want to become familiar with them now.

Thanks to you and to emulatorloo for this endorsement.
