Some Starbucks employees on the picket line on company's investor day

SEATTLE — Tuesday is Starbucks’ investor day, and some employees are now on the picket line.

Workers demonstrating are accusing the coffee giant of union busting.

Some Starbucks stores have voted to unionize, and protest organizers say they want to send the company a message with Tuesday’s pickets.

"We are here today to remind Starbucks that the workers are the ones who bring in the profit we are the ones who are essential, and we are not going to be silenced," said Billie Adeosun, who works at Starbucks. "We’ve been ready for a while now to come to the table to negotiate a fair contract. They really should consider being on the correct side of history. This is going to just keep happening.”
