SUPPORT MINERS ON STRIKE IN ALABAMA! DONATE NOW.
Donate here: https://actionnetwork.org/fundraising/support-striking-miners-in-alabama/
Since the end of March, more than 1,100 Alabama coal miners have been on strike after their venture-capital-backed bosses tried to push a contract on them that cut wages, pensions, benefits, and protections.
Peoples Actions local affiliate, Hometown Action, is on the front lines working to support these workers and their families as they fight for their rights and dignity. Donate today to support these courageous workers on strike!
Hometown Action has been working with The Valley Labor Report--an Alabama-based pro-union radio show--to organize Strike Fest this weekend in Brookwood, Alabama to raise money for striking workers and their families. The event is part old-school telethon and will feature live performances, good Southern cooking, and working class solidarity.
When you donate today, 85% of your contribution will directly benefit striking Alabama miners and their families via The Valley Labor Report's mutual aid fund, with the remaining 15% supporting Hometown Action's rural organizing for more sustainable, resilient communities for Alabama workers.
We're committed to advocating for a transition to clean energy sooner rather than later, a commitment echoed by the United Mine Workers of America president just last month. And we're also committed to letting rural folks like many of these mining families know we've got their backs when it comes to good jobs and economic recovery.
Hometown Action will be in Brookwood all weekend building solidarity with union miners, and organizing around the need for bold climate policy like the THRIVE Agenda and expansion of workers rights through the PRO Act that doesnt leave anyone behind. Peoples Action and Hometown Action believe all Alabama workers deserve good jobs with employers who treat them fairly and pay them fairly. This is a chance to directly support workers fighting for their rights.
These workers are putting it all on the line in solidarity with one another. Lets show them we have their backs.
In solidarity,
The Peoples Action team

This is wholesale Wall Street business at its worst. And yet RepubliProles keep sucking up Fox TV, and Dead Multimillionaire Limbaugh broadcasts, as if they were mother's milk. And they keep voting against their own interests and thus help to perpetuate this kind of grotesque RepubliParasitic Culture.
