1. It's the first sign of a sense of humor I've seen in fundagelical god

that he'd elevate people like Palin and TFG, along with Goasr, Jordan, MTG and Boebert to lead the Republican Party. If that isn't a prank on a colossal scale, I don't know what is.

2. It struck me because

. . . in so many ways, Palin presaged 💩 . It's like she was the trial run, and when the RWNJ powers saw how close they could come with her -- ignorant, hypocritical, racist, anti-environment, but with a certain cheap charisma -- it was just one step to 2016. All they needed was someone they could easily manipulate via his narcissism, while they spent the eight Obama years whipping the base into a frenzy. And they continue to do so.

And there's no logic that will persuade them otherwise. If "God" appoints leaders, then "God" must have appointed Hitler (or 💩 .). If "God" wouldn't make a bad person powerful, then Hitler (💩 couldn't have been bad. This is the kind of tautology I've heard over and over and over again. And it justifies ALL of their evil deeds.

3. Debt ceiling relief, or was that discounted Friday?

Gold, Japan opportunity ahead? Nvidia issuing $10 billion shares at current highs. P/E 180, but a big player in AI. Short? NASDAQ Bubble?

Hard landing ahead? Short XHB? (Home builders).

Should I ask AI? Should you?

I think it's all going to crash sooner rather than later but it's going to happen without warning and due to something no one's been watching.
