Every time something is supposed to go up, it reverses. Things that don't move together, move together. They had us all set up for a collapse Monday, it was so sure they couldn't let it happen, there was more money to fleece from the little guy if they took it up. Bonds are supposed to fall given higher interest rates ahead, they had 3 weeks of that and now a rebound. I have small hedges, open and close. Dumped KHC a month ago, it's down 3 bucks so I'm back in, and hedged too. It seems to me all the prominent investors and hedge fund titans are trying to make the perfect call (is it more about ego than money now?) and nothing much may happen at all, the markets could be range bound for many months with political, pandemic, financial uncertainty. After long trends, trend reversals, volatility - consolidation could set in.
