(14,841 posts)I must admit however, that my favourite bottled porter is Odell Cutthroat.
Plenty of great porters being served on cask over here in the UK, with my current favourite being Barlow Jolly Roger Porter, an occasional brew from a small local brewer but IMHO it's just about the best thing they do.

(18,336 posts)Also Hop Rising by squatters, its a double ipa, 9.5 abv. 10 bucks per six pack, best bang for the buck. Their ipa is also excellent.
Also Dig by new belgium, unfortunately its a seasonal brew (spring). Maybe one of the most complex beers I have ever had.

Back when I did I enjoyed Sierra Nevada. It was a good West Coast Deadhead beer.
