Intelligent or free thinking enough to have her own thoughts, dislikes etc. It like she is being controlled by the wrong people if only she would let us control her then she would be okay. Its scarey to see the level of animus directed at anyone who sees themselves as an individual with their own thoughts rather than part of some perceived correct group think.

Some want the genders to be more different from each other, some want them to be more similar.

Basically, I think the overall problem is one of trying to put people into these simplistic little boxes. Which is why I'm in favor of letting individuals be who they are, as much as is possible without harming others.
