Understanding not everything will be available here. Im curious what you folks think.
Mint says unlimited wifi 15/month!
T-mobile says unlimited wifi is 50/month.
I havent cut the cord and do find relaxation and inspiration on pbs, TMC and MSNBC. The rest of tv is useless for me.

(284 posts)I have ViaSat and they were going to up my bill by $30. My area is part of the rural Broadband initiative. We are supposed to get broadband by the end of September provided through the electric co-op.
I called ViaSat to cancel my satellite internet and they sent me directly to customer service and dropped my bill by $40. So that's $70 off of what they were going to charge me. I was quite clear that I'm probably going to drop them when the Electric Co-op runs the wire. So I wasn't trying to cheat them or anything.
Also there is a lot of broadcast channels now available. I'm about 50 Mi south of a metro area and 45 miles Northwest of a different area. With a cheap antenna that's pointed in either direction I can get all the major networks. I get PBS and it's sub networks which include create TV and the world channel. All in all about 40 channels. Some of which just plays old sitcoms from the 50s 60s 70s 80s and 90s. Over Roku, you can get the Pluto channels. That would be using your internet.

(2,294 posts)We are really lucky, our local provider DFN (Douglas Fast Net) fiber just upped our speeds from 250/25 to 1gb/1gb and no added charge totally unlimited for $65 month.

(13,436 posts)I signed up the phone and iPad. iPhone was connected to the service. iPhone, the most important, remained with T-Mob.
After several long phone calls to pleasant people, I finally gave up and realized that I pissed away $50 - or whatever the amount was.
Mint customer service people have no idea that they are doing.
Thank you.
Do you have tmobiles wifi?

(13,436 posts)house phone, even though we haven't had a house phone for years. The full package is $212 per month. More, if it was just internet and tv.
