Biden doesn't want a role in Clinton adminstration

(CNN)Vice President Joe Biden on Friday ruled out the possibility he would be secretary of state in a potential Hillary Clinton administration after reports that he had been mentioned for the job.

"I'll do anything I can if Hillary's elected to help her, but I don't want to remain in the administration," Biden told CNN affiliate KBJR. He added that Clinton has not yet reached out to him about a potential role.

"I have no intention of staying involved. I have a lot of things to do, but I'll help her if I can in any way I can," Biden added.

While he definitely has the experience and expertise to serve as Secretary of State, I can understand that serving as head of the State Dept. is one of the most physically demanding positions in the Federal Government, and after his years of service and all he has been through in his private life, he may want to slow down.

However, if he's open to any position at all, U.N. Ambassador could fit him nicely and not have him flying all over the world.
If he's offered that position, I'd hope he'd give it a chance.
