John Kerry to give talk at MIT on climate change this Monday

It will be interesting to hear what he says to encourage people to continue working to fight climate change in the Trump are. He was essential to getting the Paris accord, something that seemed unlikely to happen when he accepted the job as Secretary of State. This is an issue he has fought for decades.

Kerry should go down as the Secretary of state most focused on the environment. Without him, the Paris accord likely would not have been possible. He also initiated annual international conferences dealing with protecting the oceans.

This may be his most significant legacy .
