Today News: John Kerry has 'no plans to run' for office after current role

http://www.today.com/news/john-kerry-has-no-plans-run-office-after-current-role-2D79831106

Secretary of State John Kerry says his days hitting the campaign trail are behind him.

“I have no plans to run for public office again,” he told TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie in an interview that aired Friday.

“This is my last public position I think, and I’m going to try and get the job done as well as I can,” the former Democratic presidential nominee said.

But he joked that it’s also wise “never say never to anything,” especially when he’s got a puppy as popular as he has, a yellow Labrador retriever who has his own Twitter handle, @Diplomutt.

“You know, I might run for dog catcher,” he quipped. “But no, I’m not running. I’m not running.”

Well, may will be the upcoming 3 years been as LONG as possible LOL.
Kerry will be missed by us of course, but I thinksit's a good decision. And as SoS, he really found the best job wich he can fit in, and I had never saw him as happy than were he is now!

The political world left and right is so f,*ed up and personality based rather than idea based that elections in the us are a circus.

A perfect example with mccarthy. He was called nice and moderate by the dems. After these last few days, the honeymoon is finished, I hope.
