consider also that we could probably wait to see who Obama wants (I mean in reality, not through what are still rumors, even if they may be strong rumors).

because it is pretty evident who he has been pushing. And, I think he has intentions of nominating her as soon as things die down. The fact that they haven't was a huge miscalculation on the administration's part. I will never understand why he would choose her over the Senator, but things are what they are.

What I liked about the Time commentary, was that he gave credit to Kerry for his work in Pakistan and Afghanisan, work that have been very much overlooked elsewhere.
