Very disappointed with the pushback to my lamenting the conditions in Cuba caused by extraterritorial sanctions.

Some think it's OK to create near impossible conditions because of fantasized notions.

For my family and millions of others.

I know there are a substantial number of people who support detente and normalization w/Cuba.

But some of the irrational pushback attempting to justify the unjustifiable is disheartening, to say the least.

Viva Cuba, the homeland of my family, my culture, and my people.

Returning back to the US and seeing the wealth here after the impoverished lifestyles lived by my relatives and beloved friends hurts me for weeks on end, and it haunts me so often I have to suppress my emotions. And to think it is done by our own government's extraterritorial sanctions to people who have done the US no harm makes it even worse.

For example, we stood in eight hour lines to get a quarter tank of propane to cook with, it's like that for most everything.

And no Cubans nor their government have ever attacked the US. It's sick.

Condemned by the world, the US continues abusing Cubans in Cuba.

They never take the time to think long enough to wonder why the U.S. has had a travel ban on US citizens for decades, except for Cuban -Americans, and doesn't want them to go there, even though Washington allows them to travel to China, and VietNam.

They can't be bothered to think about that, they'd rather be ignorant, and continue to cling to the propaganda Washington gave them so long ago to keep them manageable. It's really pathetic how stupid they are.

Feel free to respond to some of the absurdities being tossed around as some kind of justification for policies designed to cripple their economy and deprive millions. Including my family.

Thanks for responding and your compassion.

Nighest number of teachers/students in the world.
Same for doctors/citizens.
Universal health care prenatal to death.
Universal higher education.
Sovereignty.

Imo, one of the most effective governments in the western hemisphere, because of what they do with so little.

Castro didn't do these things. The Cuban people did with their gov't, not against it.

It's time to stop doing negative TO Cuba.

Inspiring. The Cuban people are ingenious, making things run with so little.
I support full normalization of US/Cuban relations.

Yes, the Obama administration started along the rod to repair America's bad karma (relative to Cuba).

The Trumpian maga bullied and destroyed the china-shop.
The six decade Cuban blockade is a sin against humanity and a stain up the USA.
